Pastor Hamani Royal Fisher is a native of Queens, New York and is the Pastor of City Dive Outreach Center, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. City Dive Outreach Center (“CDOC”) is a church plant and ministry birthed from the vision of Apostle Terrell L. Murphy, Senior Pastor of Life Center International, located in Charlotte, NC.

Pastor Fisher is a graduate of Morehouse College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology in May of 1998. He received his ordination to Pastor in March of 2012.

 

God has truly given Pastor Fisher a heart and passion for children and youth. Prior to becoming a Pastor, he served as the Senior Director of Youth Development at New Birth - Charlotte, and the Director of Student Ministries with New Mercies Christian Church in Lilburn, Georgia. He was privileged to work with a juvenile justice sanctioned program, Project Destiny, where he served as a case manager for repeat juvenile offenders. After the conclusion of his assignment with Project Destiny, Pastor Fisher continued to work in the field of empowering young people and their families at the Department of Family and Children Services, where he served 14 and 15-year-old foster children as an Independent Living Coordinator.

 

Pastor Fisher’s passion for youth was realized and ignited during his matriculation through Morehouse College. It was during this time, that God gave him the vision for the “Back 2 School Jam 4 Jesus.”  The Back 2 School Jam concert series evolved into J4J Entertainment Group, a one-stop solution entertainment brokerage firm, which became an avenue that placed God and His Kingdom principles back into the schools and the lives of young people everywhere. He is committed to this life - long task to pioneer trails that will reposition Christ to the forefront of the development of Kingdom-focused institutions of education.

In October of 2010, Pastor Fisher was the first to be promoted to the division Church Development / Church Planting at Life Center International. It was truly an honor for him to accept the call to lead and undergird Apostle Murphy’s vision for the City Dive Outreach Center. This innovative move of God was not going to be just another church. Both men realized that God was calling CDOC to be a beacon of hope and significantly aid in transforming the lives of the families and residents of the West Boulevard Corridor as well as the surrounding Charlotte metro areas.

Pastor Fisher works diligently with the CDOC family, community, city/county leaders to achieve the mission of CDOC, which is to Engage with the love of God, Equip with the light of Christ and Employ all of its citizens into their God given destiny. His desire is for CDOC to become a resource, educator, family, friend, confidant, and encourager to the families in the community in which they have been called to love and serve. Pastor Fisher is passionate about helping others understand their kingdom authority, purpose and significance in life.

Pastor Fisher and his beautiful wife, Kendria (“Lady K”) have been married for 16 years and have been blessed with three amazing sons, Joshua who is 15, Jaden who is 13, and Jonavon who is 9 years old.
